Egypt – There have been Coptic Christians in Egypt for over a thousand years, and it is by far one of the biggest groups of Christians anywhere in the Middle East. Pray that Coptic Christians today would be filled with the Holy Spirit and have a strong relationship with God.
Uzbekistan – Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent is the Islamic capital of Central Asia, and for many, Islam is part of their cultural identity. Pray that people would be released from any cultural pressure to be Islamic and that they would have the freedom to explore Christianity.

Nepal - In 1959, there were just 29 Christians secretly living in Nepal―now there could be as many as half a million! Thank God for this amazing growth.
UAE - Pray for the protection and encouragement of the few Arabic Christians in the UAE. Pray for them to find fellowship and continue on in boldness.

Albania – Most ethnic Albanians are Muslims and live outside Albania in Kosovo or Macedonia. Pray that they would have opportunities to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Morocco - Less than 5% of the Moroccan population has ever met a Christian or heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray that there would be open doors for Christians to be a witness for Him.

Iraq – Unlike many Muslim countries, Christian holidays and festivities such as Christmas are celebrated in Iraq. Pray that a new government will not only maintain these things, but also enforce such freedoms.
Sri Lanka – Thank God for the commitment of many missionaries over the years, which has seen Christian churches in Sri Lanka multiply. In the 1970s only 26 new churches were planted, but by the 1990s this number had grown to over 330.

Israel - Thank God for the Christians and Jews that remain in Palestine, and pray for their protection.
Tajikistan - Thousands of people lost their lives the civil war, and a million lost their homes or had to move. Pray that the government would tackle the poverty of over half the population and be able to maintain peace.
