10/40 Window Weekly Prayer Points: December 30-January 5, 2008
Eritrea – Eritrea is one of the world’s most violently repressive states and religious liberty continues to deteriorate. Pray that God will bring change to Eritrea.
Tibet – Ask God to raise up prayer teams who will begin breaking up the soil in Tibet through intercession.
Syria - Pray that these terrorist groups will be thrown into confusion, and will not be able to regroup, recruit, or have the capacity to be disruptive.
Mongolia – Pray that terrorists would not be able to exploit Mongolia’s porous borders, easy entry for foreign travelers and poverty conditions.
East Timor - Thank God that 99% of the population are Christian. Pray that their faith would be alive and that they learn forgiveness for all the atrocities that have happened.
The Gambia - The majority of Gambians are Muslim, but few churches and missionaries have any contact with them. Pray that more Muslims, from all different ethnic groups, will have the opportunity to hear the gospel.
West Bank & Gaza Strip – Pray that when the enemy comes against innocent people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip that the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against the enemy by sending forth weapons from His arsenal in heaven. (Exodus 15:3, 6-7 and Isaiah 59:19)
India - Please pray urgently for the villages and small towns in India that are experiencing a sudden rise of violence against Christians. Pray for God’s protection upon leaders and continued boldness to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Mauritania - Pray that the Lord Himself will do a miracle and destroy the mighty strongholds of Islam. Ask Him to bind demonic rulings so that they will be overthrown.
Sudan - Pray that God would bring bless the efforts and bring prosperity to all those who are working so diligently to rebuild their homeland.
Afghanistan – Ask God to draw the Afghani leaders to the Ttruth of Himself so that these influencers will experience His saving grace. (1 Timothy 2:1–4)
Kuwait – Pray that Kuwaiti Christian Believers will stand strong in their faith and boldly share the Good News of Jesus Christ with their family and friends.
Bangladesh - Pray for peace and an end to corruption in government.
Japan - Pray authoritatively over the spiritual principalities and powers that are keeping the Japanese people bound in a dense darkness of fear and shame. Pray for the Light of Jesus Christ to fill the land!
Guinea-Bissau - Pray that new leaders will be raised up – that they will receive wisdom and knowledge through discipleship and training.
Bhutan - Bhutan has one of the world’s smallest and underdeveloped economies. Pray that the majority of the population who relies on agriculture and forestry for their livelihood would reap fruitful harvests.
Saudi Arabia – Pray against the intrusion and bullying of the muttawa, the religious police, which have broad powers to arrest, interrogate, and torture in the name of maintaining “purity of religion.”
