10/40 Window Weekly Prayer Points: December 23-December 29, 2007

Chad – Pray for God to thwart any work of Al Qaeda and Janjaweed militiamen in Chad.
Algeria – Algeria was a French colony for 134 years before it gained independence in 1962. In 1992, the army stopped a militant Islamic party from taking power after they won democratic elections. Since then a gruesome civil war has killed over 100,000 people. In the last couple of years there has been some hope of finding an end to the conflicts, but peace is still a long way off. No part of the country has been left untouched by the massacres and violence that have killed thousands. Pray for an end to the death and destruction.

Libya – Pray for God to defeat the plans of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb and the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat. Pray that the demonic forces that are using these terrorist groups like puppets will be toppled, and that the people will be set free to worship the Lord.
Malaysia - Pray that when the enemy comes against innocent people that the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against the enemy by sending forth weapons from His arsenal in heaven. (Exodus 15:3, 6-7 and Isaiah 59:19)

Oman - Pray that the influence of violent groups operating in neighboring countries will not spread to Oman. (2 Timothy 2:24–26)
Kazakhstan - Pray that members of terrorist organizations Hizb’ut Tahrir, the East Turkistan Liberation Organization and Aum Shinrikyo will be caught and properly dealt with for their continued violence against innocent people. (Mark 4:22)

Tunisia - Pray that Tunisian leaders will experience the grace of an Almighty God and conversion to Christianity. (1 Timothy 2:1–4)
Cambodia – The terrible massacres of 1975-79 have left the country emotionally scarred. Pray that people can find healing and peace from their suffering. Pray also for those who are caring for the millions of orphans and widows who lost their families.

Turkey - There is an increasing openness in Turkish government to officially recognize that Turkey is a multi-cultural and multi-religious country. Pray that this openness would continue and bring greater freedom for all people in Turkey
North Korea - Pray that renegade and hostile terrorists the North Korean government sponsor are caught and properly dealt with for their continued violence against innocent people. (Mark 4:22)

Somalia - Pray for Somalia’s government to stabilize and become vigilant against combating terrorism.
Pakistan - Pray that God would root out terrorist groups out of Pakistan, so it will no longer be a safe haven for some top terrorist leaders.

Nigeria - Pray that individuals and private groups in Nigeria will end their ties to terrorist elements in Sudan, Iran, Pakistan and Libya.
Maldives - Pray that the international community will not tolerate outbreaks of injustice and violence against Christians and will flood the U.N., U.S. Congress and European Union leaders with millions of letters crying out for justice for all citizens. (Amos 5:24)
Jordan – Pray for the salvation of King Abdullah II and his leaders.
Senegal - There is a lot of freedom and tolerance different religions in Senegal― which is amazing in such an Islamic land, but only a few Muslims have ever become Christians. Pray for Muslims to yearn to know Christ.
