PRAY|THE|REVOLUTION

Well, for the third night in a row I can’t sleep.  I’ve been up until 5 or 6am the last two nights… and here we go again.

So, I thought I’d catch you up to speed on what’s going on with us.  (You can see loads of pictures at http://www.flickr.com/praytherevolution)

We have been thrilled and blessed to have played a small part in the IHOP family over the last year or so.  Leading Intro to IHOP was a dream position in many ways, and we have some great memories and have made some even greater friends.

Currently I’m finding myself at IHOP quite regularly… in the prayer room at times and in the coffee shop at times working for clients.  I had a strong spurt of graphic/web design hit me, but now it’s ebbed back down just in time for me to head to Thailand for ten days.

I’ve traveled more this year than any year of my life, and am looking very forward to the opportunity to teach on Revelation Driven Prayer in Thailand.  After I return, the entire family is heading to Detroit where I’ll be speaking at IHOPE-Detroit, C3 and at least one new church.  God is really doing something amazing in that region, and church leaders are growing hungrier and hungrier for a move of God.  My November trip is being extended by a week, and I am so excited about seeing God move in great power there!

I also look forward to getting back to Revolution Church in Idaho soon as well as Way of the Cross in Dayton, Ohio.  I’m filling up my 2009 calendar, so contact me soon to nail down a ministry date.  john@praytherevolution.com.

We’re praying about next steps regarding our local mission.  Meaning, are we going to base out of IHOP and serve in a ministry here or will we possibly move to another location where revival will need to be tended.  We just don’t know.  We continually have friends ask us what our next step is, and the honest answer is that we are very excited about the next step, but we don’t know what it is.  So, for now, we’re very much IHOPpers and ready to run the race with fervor here.

My publisher picked up my book Revelation Driven Prayer and a friend from Detroit is working on putting together a companion workbook.  Next up is a workbook for Six Enemies of Fulfilled Destiny and then probably 20 Elements of Revival.  I’ve been planning on writing my new book, Pharaoh in the Church, for many months now… and all I have is the cover designed.  I need to hole up in a hotel room somewhere for a few days and knock a large portion of it out.

Amy will be scoping out possible ministry positions as well… first up is a crisis pregnancy center in the Detroit area.  She sent them her resume and her book and they are looking them over now.  A crisis pregnancy center in Minnesota requested copies of her book to give to grieving mothers, so that is a blessing for Amy to be able to minister in that way.

I talked with Miles today and it looks as if Revolution House of Prayer in Manitou is doing well.  I’m praying he is able to travel more and hit the road with me.  He’s had a number of recent prophecies that spoke of travel, so it’s just a matter of time.

I’m still very much praying about the eventual PRAYTHEREVOLUTION internship and the ONETWENTY events in various cities.  I’m not going to push it until it’s clear I’m to do so.  I’ve received some feedback from people who are quite interested in it, so if you are someone who feels prompted to be a part of a traveling revival team, please let me know at john@praytherevolution.com.

Well, it’s after 1am… I better try to sleep again.  I need to head over to IHOP tomorrow for more prayer and work for my clients.
