Change, change, change in the Burton family

Amy and are going through quite a season. We are challenged, stretched and expectant as we are watching God reorder our lives in a variety of significant ways. Our current ministry is developing and changing and we are excited about what’s coming next. Keep us in prayer as our financial need is suddenly increasing.

I’ll share more later about the changes that are coming over the next couple of months, but I thought I’d take a moment here to share what continues to be the core of our heart and calling.

Revival: Revival is the biblical norm, and this fire must spread quickly to the nations.
Reformation: Massive change is coming to the church. The church isn’t a house of teaching, a house of evangelism, a house of relationships or a house of small groups. It’s a house of prayer for all nations. This reality is being reintroduced.
Prayer: Discovering the thrilling, experiential life of prayer-fueled encounter with God is too good to miss.
Prophecy: Living a prophetic life is not only an adventure, it’s critical.
Life: Amy’s heart especially beats for those whose hearts have stopped- and those that are threatened.
Media: It’s been said often that we have an anointing of communication. We love to transfer the messages of God via the web, podcasts, blogs, etc. My web design business, www.johnburtondesign.com, is helping other ministries do the same.
Writing: We both are called to write. I’m about to start my sixth book, Pharaoh in the Church.
Travel: Ministry in churches, houses of prayer, at camps and conferences is a primary focus for us. We desire to impart the life and fire of Jesus as revivalists and messengers.
